Envision Well-Being, LLC has been providing consultative services since 2018. Dr. Marissa Levine is currently the owner and managing director of Envision Well-Being, LLC whose focus is to facilitate the leadership development needed to design communities where all can thrive. Dr. Levine recently retired from the University of South Florida where she was Professor of Public Health Practice in the College of Public Health (COPH) and collaborating faculty to the Department of Family Medicine and the Division of Infectious Diseases at the USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Levine directed the USF Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice at COPH where she taught a positive, strength-based, systems thinking approach to leading in complex contexts, called regenerative leadership.
Dr. Levine is also a retired family physician with 16 years of medical practice experience including as residency director for a family medicine residency. She subsequently completed 16 years of state government service culminating in being appointed as the Virginia State Health Commissioner and agency head for the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) from 2014-2018. As Commissioner, Dr. Levine led the effort to create an action framework for population health improvement called Virginia’s Plan for Well-Being and led significant public health emergency preparedness and response activities as the state ESF-8 lead.
Marissa looks forward to working with you as you further develop your and other's capacity to lead regeneratively.
